Summer Fun!

Cara is eight months old!  Her new trick is pulling herself up to standing on the furniture, and that is all she wants to do.  The problem is, she hasn't figured out how to get back down, so she just stands there wailing until someone puts her back down.  She frequently makes this horrible roaring noise that is really surprising coming from a sweet little baby.  She scares strangers.  She still likes to blow raspberries at people, too.  She is darling, but she needs to learn some social graces.

This baby loves to eat.  She eats the boys under the table!

We have two neighbors who have children who are 5-10 years older than our kids.  We often come home to find mysterious and wonderful gifts on our front lawn.  We once told the boys we would never get a trampoline because they are dangerous, but we came home from church one day and lo and behold there was one waiting for them.  The boys were completely thrilled, and we haven't had any injuries so far (knock on wood!)

It has been really fun for them this summer.

Exhibit B of Things That Showed Up On Our Porch while we were gone.  The boys are in heaven, but I am kind of scared to come home sometimes!

We have been doing some swimming.  Cara is training for the 2016 Olympics.

The other fun thing we did for the summer is get the boys into Tae Kwon Do.  So far they have really enjoyed it!  It is so cute to see them practicing.

Brett is the littlest one there, but he has been really good about following instructions and learning the moves.  Sometimes when we go to the park or the jungle, the bigger kids there will call him a baby.  He now says "I am not a baby, I know tae kwon do!"  And he does!  Brett has also been given the same nickname by two separate people- he is known at Jason's preschool and at tae kwon do as "Smiley".  He almost always has a big, happy smile on his little face.

It will never not be fun to dress her up :)

I just love taking this handsome crew to church!

Here are a couple pics from my phone- Cara at happy hollow.

Brett being a rock star!

Brett took this one!  I just wish he was in it, too! Yes, I am wearing leopard print jammies :)
