Our Easter Pics
I really like Jason's preschool and especially his teacher. They really go all out for the holidays, though, sometimes I think a little too much! They hosted a big Easter egg hunt for all the preschool and kindergarten kids. They are so nice and let Brett participate, too.
All the little bunnies getting ready to find some eggs!
Jason was totally focused. They had each child run and find two eggs, then sit back down. Then they repeated that about 10 times. It was a very civilized egg hunt and the kids still had a blast.
They had the kids find little tiny gems. How come they spent 20 minutes picking up gems but they can't spend 5 min gathering up their toys?
A nice mom took a pic of me and the boys.
Evaluating their loot. So. Much. Candy. And it seems like we just recovered from Valentine's day. I kept the candy to a minimum on the actual Easter day.
We took a break from Easter festivities to go worm huntin'. They were out washing the car with Daddy, when they discovered worms. They came running in the house clutching handfuls of writhing, slimy worms for me to admire. It was really gross.
"What, you don't love my worms?"
We tried to convince them to return them to the wild, but they wanted to keep them forever. They have been giving them dirt and water every day.
We dyed eggs Saturday night.
Waiting semi-patiently.
Easter morning! They found their baskets and got to open some awesome t-shirts from Grandma and Grandpa Liau!
All dressed up for church!
Three handsome guys!
We had our friends the Stringhams' over for dinner on Sunday. I was so excited about the table!
I have collected all these bits and pieces of easter decor on sale over the years, and it was so fun to set it all out and use it! Most of the flowers came from our back yard, too!
Julie made the most adorable bunny cake!
He was almost too cute to eat, but none of us were willing to turn down dessert.
Cody, Julie, Ryan, and Jessica.
We had Jessica and Cody hide some eggs for one last hunt.
Jessica had to model the silly glasses that were in the Easter baskets :). It was so fun to have them over for Easter dinner. We are grateful for all our blessings and enjoyed spending time together during this Easter season!
