Catching up..

Well, I haven't updated the blog in quite awhile, but things have been pretty quiet around here!  We haven't had too much to document over the last few months.  Cara is growing up and is so cute.  She loves to wear all the clothes and accessories.  This fuzzy pink vest is her favorite- she brings it to me to put it on her in the mornings. She also loves shoes and wants to wear them all the time. She is a little fashionista!  She has four words in her vocabulary- she says Da-da, which means "doggy or other animal that kind of looks like a doggy". She points out every doggy or doggy picture she comes across- there are a lot of doggies around!  She says "hi" and "dae-dae", which means "thank-you". She also says "uh-oh", which means she dropped something, usually her bottle. She also calls her bottle "uh-oh".  Sometimes she walks forlornly around the house saying "uh-oh, uh-oh"-she is looking for her bottle. The boys never used a bottle but she really loves hers and carries one around with her everywhere. She is also a climber. If I leave her alone for a second she will scale the furniture and give me a heart attack by standing precariously on a table or shelf.

I think Cara is the spitting image of Derek and she is such a Daddy's girl. She just loves to hang out with him. After she's done with dinner she will go over and sit on his lap until we are all finished. She cries when he leaves and wants to play with him all the time. If daddy is available, she is stuck like glue to him!

Jason and Daddy had a great time building the Lego Batmobile. We have so many Lego sets- it's unbelievable.  All three of the boys spend hours every day discussing Legos.

Derek and I went out to a nice dinner on Valentine's day. It was fun to go on a date with my sweetie!  We don't do that often enough.

Jason was supposed to dress up like a hundred year old person for his hundred days of school party. We visited Goodwill and came home with the perfect outfit!
